Service Description
Class Topics Inventors and Inventions Over the course of the fall semester students will learn about different inventors and inventions from the 17th century through today. We will read about, discuss, and do whole group activities, all while using the knowledge and insight we’ve gained throughout the semester to plan, create and turn our own ideas into inventions. Motion, Mechanics and Energy This fall, we will examine motion, mechanics and energy, including how they can influence each other. Working individually and in groups, we will use hands-on approaches to look at the relationship between movement and forces. We will complete design challenges, using what we have talked about to predict how our designs will work. Everyone will have the chance to test, modify and retest their designs.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: We keep our program and class numbers small to enhance learning outcomes. If you have questions about a program or class, please contact us prior to signing up. Programs and/or classes can be dropped PRIOR to the second week of each semester. There is a 30% fee for a dropped program or class. The remaining balance after fee reduction will be reimbursed. *IPHG will NOT reimburse for a program or class that is dropped after the second week of each semester* To drop a class please email iphglearning@gmail.com IPHG reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is canceled before beginning, a full refund will be given. In the event IPHG cancels a class after the class has begun, a prorated refund will be given.
