Our Fall 2026 Teen Tuesday program meets from 9AM- 1:30PM (in the church classrooms), providing students age 12+ with both academic enrichment and social development opportunities.

This program begins on September 1st and ends December 8th.

We will NOT have class 11/3 and 11/24

Daily Schedule
9:00-9:15- drop off
9:15-9:30- morning meeting
9:30-10:30- micro-classes
10:30-11:30- whole group lesson
11:30-12:00- open gym
12:00-12:30- lunch
12:30-1:30- activity time
1:30- pickup

MICRO-CLASS TOPICS
Micro- class topics will last for 4 weeks. Students will self-select a topic of interest and work in small groups to research, report, create mini projects, and present topic findings/ knowledge/ information to their peers.   
Program instructors will facilitate independent learning, establish group goals for each micro-class session, provide access to research and project-based materials, and encourage collaborative thinking while supporting individual strengths.

Homework will be requested weekly; task and amount will vary pending student's micro-class topic.
 
WHOLE GROUP LESSON
Whole group lessons are designed to focus on current or historical events, and skills specific to middle school and high school age students (such as, but not limited to- critical thinking and analysis, note taking, research and information literacy, digital and financial literacy, test preparation)

ACTIVITY TIME
Activity time is meant to provide opportunity for extended learning, connection, and conversation while incorporating both self-selected and teacher directed activities. Each week students will have multiple options to choose from such games, art projects, team building activities, science experiments, etc.
