Service Description
In this class, students ages 6-9 will explore the science of stars, planets, moons, and other celestial objects. Through hands-on experiments, fun simulations, art projects, and creative food activities, students will learn about space through a physical science lens. Students will explore answers to questions including: How do scientists think the solar system was formed? What are constellations for? How do meteors create craters? Why does Earth’s moon appear to change shape throughout the month? Just how far away are the planets in our solar system? What is the earth made of? How do astronauts survive in space? What causes the northern (and southern) lights?
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: We keep our program and class numbers small to enhance learning outcomes. If you have questions about a program or class, please contact us prior to signing up. Programs and/or classes can be dropped PRIOR to the second week of each semester. There is a 30% fee for a dropped program or class. The remaining balance after fee reduction will be reimbursed. *IPHG will NOT reimburse for a program or class that is dropped after the second week of each semester* To drop a class please email iphglearning@gmail.com IPHG reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is canceled before beginning, a full refund will be given. In the event IPHG cancels a class after the class has begun, a prorated refund will be given.
