Welcome homeschooling families! My name is Christine.

 

I'm a mom to three children. We began homeschooling in the fall of 2020. We had been looking into homeschooling for years and the pandemic was the push we needed to make it a reality. We have enjoyed learning at home together and pursuing our interests.

 

We joined Irving Park Homeschool Group meetups in the Fall of 2021 and enjoyed the connections we made. As much as we liked learning at home, we were looking for opportunities to learn with and work together with other kids. Since 2022, my children not only began taking classes with IPHG, but I began teaching. We look forward to it every semester.

I have 10 years of experience teaching children with learning disabilities within Chicago Public Schools. I also have homeschooling experience with my own elementary, middle and high school age children.
