CLASS TOPICS Math Games and Explorations Instructor: Christine Lancaster Course Description: Let's bring math to life through puzzles, games and real-world explorations! Math Games and Exploration will cover topics like patterns and geometry, logical reasoning and probability, number sense and mental math. Student will turn problem solving into play by working on a range of individual skills, teamwork tasks, and whole class challenges. A perfect class for both kids who love math and those who need a confidence boost! Cities of the Future Instructor: Lynn Gilbertsen Course Description: In this class, we’ll look ahead to the future imagining what cities could look like in fifty years, one hundred years, or more! We’ll learn all about sustainable infrastructure, advancing technology, energy efficiency, and social innovations that shape the urban environments of tomorrow. We'll read about and watch videos on topics such as architecture, environmental sciences, and urban planning, all while constructing our own cities of the future (building neighborhoods, buildings, transportation, homes).
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: We keep our program and class numbers small to enhance learning outcomes. If you have questions about a program or class, please contact us prior to signing up. Programs and/or classes can be dropped PRIOR to the second week of each semester. There is a 30% fee for a dropped program or class. The remaining balance after fee reduction will be reimbursed. *IPHG will NOT reimburse for a program or class that is dropped after the second week of each semester* To drop a class please email iphglearning@gmail.com IPHG reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is canceled before beginning, a full refund will be given. In the event IPHG cancels a class after the class has begun, a prorated refund will be given.
