Service Description
Class Topics: Gamecraft Studio: Designing Tabletop Games Instructor: Christine Lancaster In this class we will explore the world of card games, board games and role-playing games. We will have the opportunity to delve in to the mechanics, storytelling elements, strategy, and creative aspects of designing games (that are played offline). We will learn about game theory, prototyping, playtesting, and balancing game dynamics to create engaging games. By experimenting with different types of games and designing their own projects, students can enhance their problem solving skills, teamwork, and imagination in a fun and interactive learning environment. Around the world adventures Instructor: Lynn Gilbersten In this class we will explore a different country of the world each week. Students will locate and discuss geographic location, read stories or books related to or from the country we are learning, and make an art project or food that represents the culture of that country. Students will build a portfolio of the countries we learn about and take it home at the end of the semester.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: We keep our program and class numbers small to enhance learning outcomes. If you have questions about a program or class, please contact us prior to signing up. Programs and/or classes can be dropped PRIOR to the second week of each semester. There is a 30% fee for a dropped program or class. The remaining balance after fee reduction will be reimbursed. *IPHG will NOT reimburse for a program or class that is dropped after the second week of each semester* To drop a class please email iphglearning@gmail.com IPHG reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is canceled before beginning, a full refund will be given. In the event IPHG cancels a class after the class has begun, a prorated refund will be given.
