Teen Tuesday Program

Service Description

Our Fall 2025 Teen Tuesday program meets from 9AM- 1:30PM (in the church classrooms), providing students age 12+ with both academic enrichment and social development opportunities. This program begins on January 13th and ends April 21st. We will NOT have class 3/31 Daily Schedule 9:00-9:15- drop off 9:15-9:45- morning meeting 9:45-11:45- classroom time 11:45-12:15- lunch (brought from home) 12:15-1:15- activity time 1:30- pickup CLASS TOPICS Class topics will last for 4 weeks. Students will self-select a topic of interest and work independently and in small groups to research, report, create mini projects, and present topic findings/ knowledge/ information to their peers.      Program instructors Ms. Grace and Ms. Julia will facilitate independent learning, establish group goals for each class session, provide access to research and project based materials, and encourage collaborative thinking while supporting individual strengths.  Although it is not required, it will be requested that students work on their topics at home between class sessions.  ACTIVITY TIME Activity time is meant to provide opportunity for extended learning, connection, and conversation while incorporating both self-selected and teacher directed activities. Each week students will have multiple options to choose from such as playing process based games, doing art projects, participating in book clubs, and doing STEM based experiments.
