Service Description
Although this class is not a comprehensive history course, we will cover a few of the earliest recorded riots and revolts in the Roman Empire, Peasant Revolts in the Middle Ages, independence movements in the 18th and 19th centuries, and 20th century revolutions. Throughout the semester we will analyze the causes of collective outrage, the impact of systemic inequality, and the effectiveness of civil disobedience. This course will challenge students to understand the power of collective action, and the role of youth in social change. *Homework will be requested weekly

CANCELLATION POLICY: We keep our program and class numbers small to enhance learning outcomes. If you have questions about a program or class, please contact us prior to signing up. Programs and/or classes can be dropped PRIOR to the second week of each semester. There is a 30% fee for a dropped program or class. The remaining balance after fee reduction will be reimbursed. *IPHG will NOT reimburse for a program or class that is dropped after the second week of each semester* To drop a class please email iphglearning@gmail.com IPHG reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is canceled before beginning, a full refund will be given. In the event IPHG cancels a class after the class has begun, a prorated refund will be given.
