Nature's Neighbor

Service Description

As we make our way through autumn and into winter, students will work through a seasonal nature study course with environmental science components, focusing on different topics each week. We will begin every class reading together to introduce the new topic, followed with writing/ copy work/ dictation in our nature journals, and doing related art projects or sensory experiments throughout the semester. As we explore the how’s and why’s of our ever changing natural world, students will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be nature’s neighbor. *Materials are included in the cost of this class. About the Instructor: Julia has a degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in middle school math and science. She established and ran a home daycare for eight years, and ventured into homeschooling fall 2020.
