Mind-stretching Math

Service Description
In this class, students will build math skills through hands-on enrichment activities such as games, projects, picture books, and teamwork activities. We will stretch our math muscles together. Skills we’ll explore include using number lines to aid in addition and subtraction, place value, skip counting, telling time on an analog clock, geometry and shapes, patterns and symmetry, measurement, comparing numbers, perimeter, basic probability, and number puzzles and logic. Please note: activities in this class are designed to complement —but not replace—math instruction your child receives elsewhere. Students do not have to be at a specific math grade level or have the skills mentioned above to be successful in this class. Whenever possible, the instructor will differentiate activities to reach different levels of student interest and ability.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: We keep our program and class numbers small to enhance learning outcomes. If you have questions about a program or class, please contact us prior to signing up. Programs and/or classes can be dropped PRIOR to the second week of each semester. There is a 30% fee for a dropped program or class. The remaining balance after fee reduction will be reimbursed. *IPHG will NOT reimburse for a program or class that is dropped after the second week of each semester* To drop a class please email iphglearning@gmail.com IPHG reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is canceled before beginning, a full refund will be given. In the event IPHG cancels a class after the class has begun, a prorated refund will be given.
