Hi, fellow homeschool families! I’m Melissa, a mom to two creative, adventure-loving kids.
We’ve been homeschooling since 2020 and have been part of IPHG since 2023.

Connecting to this wonderful community of families has been so enriching for our family!
I find so much joy in making exploration and travel the foundation for our homeschool! Our family does extensive travel each year, using national parks, museums and science centers as our classrooms on the road. We’re setting our sights on taking our worldschooling overseas in the future too!

 

I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine after college, and I have worked in many different fields including social work, nonprofit management, early childhood education, community health education, and nutrition.

 

I look forward to sharing my skills to manage fundraising and merchandising for IPHG.
