Mary Poole history instructor

I received her masters degree in elementary education from National Louis University and have been teaching for over a decade, primarily at enrichment centers and homeschool co-ops, with my own homeschooled children.  Last year, my middle school history bowl team competed at the National History Bowl in Florida and had a magnificent time while scoring in the top 20 along side other hard working, passionate students from all over the country.  I believe that learning is most fun and effective when students are encouraged to use all their individual gifts and interests to interact with their assigned material.  Therefore, skits, games, doodles, nerf, and songs make regular appearances in all of my classes.
